I love making a positive difference in students' lives through music. It brings me so much joy to see my students grow! I love when my students tell me how they use Breathing Coordination not only in their singing and speaking, but in every day life, stress/anxiety management, general wellness, postural balance, athletic performance, etc.

Nicole is an excellent teacher. She is highly educated and trained. With her MDH certificate, she offers what many other teachers can't. MDH has improved my voice, as well as my booking rate substantially! She is patient, fun, and compassionate to boot!
Nicole is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I am SO glad I chose to call her. I could actually noticeably see the improvements after just a two lessons. Would definitely recommend Nicole no matter what level you're starting at.
Nicole is great!
In addition to offering excellent voice specific training, Nicole also stands out from other voice teachers because she does this amazing breathing coordination work that specifically targets where I am over working; which when she helped me discover more release in my rib cage....the change in my voice (both the sound and the ease of use) was amazing!!
For new students, I establish a calm, safe atmosphere for learning and teamwork. The first lesson is an assessment of the student's breathing and voice, and then we make plans to acheive the student's goals. As a certified MDH Breathing Coordination Practitioner, I incorporate a uniqe breathing method into vocal lessons. I have a massage table at my studio, and part of each lesson is spent prepping the body for singing. This is not a requirement; however, it is highly beneficial. Dressed in comfortable clothing, we would release tension throughout the body as it relates to the breathing mechanism, and ultimately recoordinate the ribs/diaphragm to move optimally, giving the student more freedom, power, and efficiency in their vocal production. After the body is prepped, we move on to vocal exercises/warmups, applying the work we did on breathing. Lastly, we work on whatever songs the student is working on. I can help with audition prep, vocal and breathing technique, performance, etc, and I offer three recitals per year.
As a trained singer and performer, I started teaching when someone asked me to teach them voice lessons. I discovered a passion for teaching and the rest is history!
Ages 5 to 95, beginners to professionals.
I recently held a showcase for my students to perform solos for their friends & families. I usually hold showcases 2-3 times/year at Center Stage Theater in Fontana. It's a great way to show off what you've learned and a great experience for growth!
The voice can be a delicate instrument and it needs proper care to develop it in a healthy way. My best advice would be to please choose your teacher wisely. Do not go for the cheapest or most conveniently located teacher... Do some research to find out which teacher will give you a solid foundation of vocal technique so your instrument will last a lifetime.
