What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The phrase "I can't".. Is rarely accepted. I like to work within the processes of visualization, accompanied with the power of positive thinking. The guitar is a difficult instrument to play. I encourage my students to practice. Practice, at times can be challenging both mentally and physically. Exercising the two processes mentioned above and a "I can" attitude creates quicker results and a happier student.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Over 40 years of jam sessions, playing in bands, and clubs.

2 years Music Theory at Pierce College

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Very Simple:

The first three lessons are $25 each and consist of evaluation and mutually agreed course (rock, country, blues, etc) unconditional money back guarantee if not satisfied.

The additional lessons are $35 for 30 minutes.

If a student would like additional time that is negotiable.
