About
I am a performer myself! With 2 degrees in the performing arts (Bachelor Of Music and Master Of Music with emphasis in Opera and musical theater) and 30 years of performing experience on stage and on screen in Los Angeles, Colorado, Kansas, as well as other states and in Europe, I have the experiences to share with those students who want to learn to play or perform with ease. I’ve taught what I know for over 15 years and have many success stories from students who’ve done everything from book a lead role in their local community theater to making it to the 2nd round of American Idol auditions, to learning to be comfortable playing a song in front of a small and supportive group of fellow students and friends. I specialize in teaching how to ease performance anxiety and thrive in whatever goal you put out for yourself, from booking your first self tape for tv to learning that one song you’ve always wanted to sing or play.
I have an in home studio with self tape accessibility, a Steinway piano, a Yamaha keyboard, and a voiceover studio.
I also teach online lessons to students in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Los Angeles. This makes it possible to have a lesson virtually anywhere or from the comfort of your own home without the hassle of travel.
You can see more about my studio at www.theeversolevoiceandpianostudio.com
I was given such a wonderful education by my music and acting instructors and I love passing that knowledge and passion on to fellow and future actors and musicians. Seeing a student’s eyes light up the moment they realize they CAN do it is one of the most amazing things a person can experience.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Half hour lessons: $31.25/p>
45 minute lessons: $46.87p>
1 hour lessons: $62.50p>
student pays for the entire month at the first lesson of the month. If there are 4 lessons in a month, you pay for 4. If there are 5 lessons in a month, you pay for 5.
While I do not give financial credits for missed lessons I do offer reschedule or make up lessons for dates you know you will have to miss or dates you must cancel last minute. I require 24 hours notice in order to receive a makeup lesson which we will then schedule to meet the needs of both of our schedules.
If I cancel, you will receive a makeup.
You are allowed 2 weeks out of the year to “skip” payment for a lesson, otherwise you must pay for all weeks and makeups/reschedules will be done.
If you know you will miss more than a month of lessons, I cannot guarantee keeping your spot in the studio. Please reach out to me directly for special circumstances (illness, a long trip, etc.) and I will do my best to accommodate.
How did you get started teaching?
My mother is a private piano teacher so I guess you can say it’s always been in my blood:-)
i actually started my own studio while I was finishing my senior year of my undergrad. I then moved to Colorado and started my studio there. When I move to LA, my students came with me via Skype and I added more LA students.
Now that i’m Splitting my time between both places with Loveland, CO as my homebase, i’ve Got students online and in person in both places as well as in other states!
What types of students have you worked with?
i’ve worked with ages 4 (piano)-82! I start piano at age 4 IF the student can sit through an entire 30 minute lesson. Otherwise age 5 or even 6. I take it on a student by student basis. For voice I start at age 10.
I have worked with students on the performance and competition track as well as students who just want to play or sing for their own enjoyment.
I have also worked with students with challenges such as Autism, schizophrenia, brain trauma, and ADD/ADHD. Music is most certainly a therapy and can help many physical and mental challenges. While I am not a trained music therapist, I have helped many who have needed extra encouragement and special requirements.
