About
I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Music Education so I am able to accommodate any age and ability. I have taught in small and large groups as well as individually for a few years. I have the ability to break down the basics really well and appeal to the student's interest to make their learning fun.
I love seeing a student's reaction when they play their first full song. They are so happy and in disbelief that they are able to recreate something they have heard played by a favorite band or artist. I also love how uplifting and encouraging the experience of music-making can be for the student. The confidence gained through music is often reflected in other areas of life and that is the ultimate goal, that music positively impacts a student's life even outside of music lessons.
