About
I have a B.S. in Guitar Performance and have been playing guitar for over 20yrs. With both teaching myself how to play as well as being taught at the collegiate level I bring a vast range of skills and knowledge to the beginning, intermediate, and advanced players. My easy-going nature will help you learn guitar well and have fun doing it!
I love helping others, especially in a field that I am passionate about. It's always a joy for me to help someone experience the guitar and find their own desire to learn more about it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is understanding what you know about the guitar. I'll ask questions about your musical tastes and what you hope to accomplish. Then I can craft a specific lesson plan that meets your needs and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Guitar Performance from Biola University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, I do 30min in-person sessions for $40. Online sessions are 30min for $30. Anything outside of those two can be up for discussion!
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all ages - from 9yrs old to 60 yrs old.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think through what you want to accomplish: Do you just want to learn a couple of songs? Do you want to play in a band? Do you want to read music? All of these can help me better focus on how I can best help you and help you fine-tune your expectations.
