What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work with new students how to put correct hands position, teach how to read music, work with patience and love.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Moscow conservatorie in Russia. I have Master Degree in music and 30+ experience in teaching. I member of California Music Teachers Association.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
my lessons can be 30 min and 45 min. 30 min are $35, 45 min-$45.
How did you get started teaching?
I started working at a ballet studio playing the piano, and then I got students from there. I am a concert pianist.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students ranging from age 5 all the way to adults aging around 40
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
i am a part of MTAC (Music Teachers Association of California) and I have my own music festival called Southern California Youth Mozart festival in San Diego
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
the student must have a piano at the house and be willing to work.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Will the student be dedicated and will have love and passion towards piano?
Will the student be willing to learn?
