About this pro

Private violin and viola instrustruction with over 25 years experience. I have completed my studies at Champman University with a BS with an emphasis in instrumental performance. I have performed in major venues across the US as a freelance musician, and an 8 year veteran of the AFM in SoCal. I have been a frequant member of the American String Teachers Association  and contracted for a string quartet for over 20 years.

Students learn the art of playing the violin using proper technique while enjoying themselves. Former students have gone in to perform with major symphonies in the US as well as Europe. They have toured with recording artists Adele, John Legend etc, and even performed with the Vitamin String Quartet and nominated for Grammy’s.

I offer many styles of musical playing and tailor each lesson to the students goals.

i look forward to hearing from you! Cathy

I have always enjoyed seeing the progress my students make and have developed close bonds with working closely with each student. And I love to see them smile!
