You Can Play Guitar 2!!!❤️
About
NOT ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS AT THIS TIME.
THANK YOU!
Everyone has had music touch them somewhere deep in their soul. It's so much better when you feel that and it's you making the music! I really enjoy helping people find that in themselves, so I take on a student now and again and help them find that in themselves. Brand new musicians with zero skills yet bennifit greatly if this is understood and the goal from the very first song learned!! If students wish to they are welcome to join me (and be paid) in live performances. Being paid for your craft is a part of the learning process. Artists who invest themselves in their music & love what they hear themselves do will touch that same beauty in others and be loved for helping the listener experience that! When the listener values that experience enough to pay for it the musician begins to understand their true value! So it goes without saying that..... YOU WILL PICK, AND LEARN THE MUSIC THAT YOU LOVE.
Over the course of my life my guitar and my music have been one of my deepest connections to myself, one of my greatest joys! I have played written and taught guitar to folks for 52 years. I really love the surprise on a students face when they hear themselves play something they really love the sound of and know that it was they that played it! Number 1 Rule HAVE FUN. #2 Rule PAY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD! Don't need anyone's fun getting squashed by worry that they can't afford the next lesson.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every new student picks music to play that THEY love on their first lesson. Together we get it learned..... And have FUN! The guitar should always be fun!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
52 years playing the music I love and my students bring me requests to learn whatever they want so I get to learn to play everything from screamo, to country, to punk, and of course folk, blues, and storytelling ballids.
