About
Drawing my knowledge from a variety of singing scenarios like choir, funk bands, a progressive rock band, singer songwriter duos, auditioning for the voice, singing the national anthem at games, recording, improv jamming with musicians I've met spontaneously, and performing at open mics I have acquired some helpful knowledge for singers. I am excited to pass along the fundamentals and rudimentary parts of singing that I use so that aspiring artists who are fired up about improving their vocal skills can bring out the voice they have always wanted. Do you want more power? Vibrato? Riffs? Colorful melodies? Confidence? Tone? More education on technique? I'd like to help you bring yourself there.
I believe this gift was given to me. What one can be one must be! I have cultivated this gift and become quite skilled in eliciting emotion through my singing voice. I love moving peoples spirits and emotions with my own and that's why I do this work.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. Determine where they are at skill and experience wise.
2. Determine where they would like to be with their singing.
3. Use my knowledge to help them get themselves there by practicing the right things.
I don't want to give them fish. I don't even want to give them a fishing pole. I want to teach the student how to teach themselves how to fish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been singing my whole life. I have been in sierra vocasl jazz choir, a few bands, and done plenty of solo work.
