About

Lessons are tailored to each student individually based on music taste, skill level, and musical goals.

It is very rewarding to see students progression and enthusiasm for the piano. For many, the ability to successfully play their favorite music on the piano is a dream and helping students achieve this is the most satisfying part of teaching music.

Sean is a passionate and patient teacher who excels at piano. I did not know anything about piano before we started lessons. His attitude towards music makes every lesson exciting and educational!

Sean Moran is an outstanding piano teacher. I came in with zero knowledge about the piano and after 2 to 3 lessons I was able to completely understand the basics of piano, music theory, and so much more. He has the ability to teach both young and old, new and experienced, with ease.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to start by gauging the skill level of a new student and learn about their music interests. From there, I can move forward with materials best suited for them.

I am a recent graduate from the USC Thornton School of Music. While at school, I studied piano performance with instructors such as Patrice Rushen and Russell Ferrante.

Students should think about what they want out of piano lessons and their seriousness about learning the instrument.
