Cheska Zaide Guitar Lessons

My teaching approach:

I am an experienced guitarist in a rising band. I have experience playing both lead and rhythm guitar and I have played over two hundred shows including domestic and international shows. I would love to teach not only guitar skills, but stage presence and promote confidence in the playing ability of the student. I would also like to help out with creating interesting guitar parts for songs.

My influences include Josh Farro for his creatively melodic guitar parts and Whakaio Taahi for the same reason.

Monday to Friday from twelve pm to six pm

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:

i first ask what it is the student wants to accomplish in the long haul. That will give me a general idea of how I want to plan out the lessons. I will look at finger and picking technique as well as knowledge of notes and chords to asses the playing ability of the student.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:

If a student wants to learn a song, I could help them learn it. But along the way I would teach different chord shapes and scales while allowing the student to recognize patterns that would allow for him or her to be more comfortable playing.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:

My ideal guitar student is passionate about learning new ideas. To me, it does not matter how advanced the student is so long as they are ready to learn and are excited to work hard.
