My teaching approach:
I teach based on individual needs. I try to make each person, no matter the level, the best possible musician that they can be. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels.

Andres Segovia, David Russell, Julian Bream, John Williams, Ernesto Bitetti, Christopher Parkening, David Grimes, Scott Tennant, and the list could go on for hours.

In the introductory lesson I explain to the student (and parent if applicable) what is expected from them in order to properly progress to the next level.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:
I divide the lesson into 3 components: Technique (scales, ligados, arpeggios), exercises from a method book, and repertoire.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
The ideal guitar student would practice 1-2 hours per day of "focused" practice. But, if the student doesn't practice at all, at least I am adding music to his life during his lesson time.
