Guitar Institute of Learning was established in 1999 by Lou DeFusco, a musician from New York. The goal of GIOL is to teach kids, teens, adults, and seniors to guita/pianor and train you on a variety of styles, including rock, jazz, country, blues, folk, alternative, pop, R&B, classical, and more! With the invention of "Skype," we now have the opportunity to give live online lessons nation wide. Although we are based in the Central Valley (Modesto/Turlock area) of California, and can instruct in your home or our studio, we are reaching out to the West Coast, all 50 states, and beyond! All of our teachers are professional, certified, and run through extensive testing and background checks. We make learning to play easy and fun!

GIOL does not just teach you how to play guitar, but how to practice it and how to become a great musician.
