Royal Academy The Sound of Music is a music school conveniently located on the border of Monterey Park and Montebello cities in Los Angeles County, California

We strongly believe that private lessons combined with frequent opportunities to perform is the best way to learn a musical instrument.

We developed a program of private (one-on-one) lessons for piano, violin, cello, guitar, voice, and flute.

Also, for students who wants to enhance their musical education, we offer a group study of Music Theory, Children’s Choir, and Rock Band.

Our highly competent teachers hold Master’s and Doctorate Degrees from the best Universities and Conservatories around the world. Most of our teachers have Russian music educational background and they are all dedicated to provide their students the best learning experience.

Here, at Royal Academy, your kids will have numerous performing opportunities, such as Monthly School Recitals, Annual Christmas Concert, State Examinations (Certificate of Merit) trough MTAC (Music Teachers Association of California), ABRSM Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Examinations, National and International Competitions, Music Festivals, Master-Classes with world renowned artists etc......

Our goal is to bring music to daily life of our community. It is scientifically proven that children who play musical instruments or involved in music activities do better in school than those who don’t.
