What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in all facets of healthcare 29 years,former college professor, licensed food safety manager, baker and cake decorator. Additionally, I have ah restaurant and catering business and truly into clean healthy cooking and prepping. I specialize in health specific meals to assist clients in showing them what to buy and cook for better health thru food. I doing have formal college education up to Master's Healthcare Administration...And over a dozen certificate of completions in other area for a blend of to a Resourceful Instructor.


How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching 24 years ago residing in Louisiana, there is ah big need, therefore, I start going to teach with Adult Education on cooking, decoration, floral design, atrs n crafts...


What types of students have you worked with?

I'm pretty flexible because I believe in educating whom ever wants to be educated...Age range 3 and up...If they are willing I am able to assist them. Also students with mental health challenges, caregivers, groups, troubled youth, patients.


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

When I'm catering I give back to the community by contracting with 1-2 community members to cater assist. Each time is a joyous memory of how team work make the dream work.


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would say do a phone interview first to get acquainted with Teacher, you will know if that is a right fit or not.


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are their specific needs? What are they looking to learning from cooking lessons? How can i apply this to my daily life for better health? How will it truly benefit me???
