About
I am an active performer, educator, soloist, and ensemble singer in classical, jazz, and other musical styles. I have sung Alto with the Los Angeles Master Chorale since 2006. I am a session musician (singing for film, TV, and animation) and also work as a voice over artist. I have been teaching steadily since 2004, working with students of all ages and backgrounds.
I enjoy guiding students to find their own unique voice, to work through their challenges, and build on their strengths, just as I continue to do in my many years as a professional musician.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my music studies at a very young age, starting piano lessons at age six and singing lessons at age eleven. I was a music student at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and continued on to study classical voice at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I discovered my passion for jazz. After college, I was accepted into the “Jazz in July” program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and worked with the legendary jazz singer Sheila Jordan.
