Experienced Guitar Teacher Seeks Students for Summer
Hi, there! My name is Matt and I am very excited to work with you. I've been playing for 20 years, teaching guitar for over 8 years, and have been helping my students blossom into not only amazing guitar players but competent musicians as well. I studied guitar and performance at Berklee College of Music under the tutelage of some incredible teachers whose credits include many popular artists. Between my education and my experience as a professional musician I have a wealth of knowledge to pass on to my students. I am also a founding member of the former folk rock band Grey Season, and have toured many parts of the country playing critically acclaimed music festivals such as South By Southwest, Bonnaroo, and Boston Calling. I am a fun and laid back instructor but I also believe that if you want to meet your goals, you have to be willing to put in the work. Tell me your goals and lets get started!
Guitar Styles I teach include: Blues (slide as well), Rock, Folk, Pop, Country, Jazz (bebop, swing, gypsy), Fusion, Funk, Metal, R&B, Bluegrass, Finger-style (Travis, Chet, Delta Blues, Ragtime, Folk, Classical, Chord Melody Etc.)
