I have been training in self defense with Henry Nguyen for over 2 months now racking up over 15 one hour sessions and I have learned a lot from our time. My schedule is a little crazy (working 15hours/day) so for me finding someone to work with my schedule was a little challenging but when I first talked to Henry he was very understanding to my schedule and was willing on seeing me 2 times a week from 8:30pm to 9:30pm at my house. Henry is extremely passionate about teaching self defense and if you ever ask him a question he does not know how to answer, you can expect a text the next morning answering your question in detail. JSF is a great place for the beginner to the advanced mature athlete. JSF will help you and guide you to reach your goals or set ones you didn't know you had. Joey's one on one to group training sessions maximize your training time physically and emotionally. Personally I even the boxing trainiing that is incorporated to stretch my cardio limits.

Francisco is very professional, his background in wrestling and his knowledge with boxing combined creates a very effective martial combat. He will work with you on your form and makes sure you do them the right way. Always great sparing session! Would highly recommend!

JC (Johnny) is honestly the best fitness trainer I have ever had and I have had trainers from gyms like ballys and 24hr fitness. There is no comparison Johnny kicks my ass as that is what I like, can't ask for a Better trainer. We also do boxing which I love just bottom line he kicks ass and I have lost some serious weight thanks to him. I have been training with him for a year now and don't plan on stopping, trainers like Johnny are hard to find.

I trained with Terry when he owned the place. I just started boxing again with the new owner, Ian, and it's great. The same exact feeling as before -- super welcoming gym, a legit place to learn how to box. None of that kickboxing stuff! Also I'm a girl, and I feel totally welcome here. No masculine aggro b.s. And it feels completely badass to learn how to *actually* box, the real way. And get some anger out on the bags! I highly recommend.
