I've been boxing since I was 17. I use to compete when when I was younger now I just train to stay in shape and keep my hand and eye coordination fresh.

I enjoy training each day and improving on my craft when I get a chance. I teach new comers the basics first and help them discover what fighting stance works best (southpaw or orthodox). I combine hand mitt drills with a power punching shield to help with power hooks and uppercuts. Teaching someone something new takes time and patience. Everyone starts at the same level but a great teacher can help you improve with confidence and coordination.

    Frequently asked questions

    First we'll find what fighting stance is your preferred one. Then we will start with the basics of how to throw a proper punch 🤛. After that we can start throwing some jabs and straight punches on some mitts until we find your rhythm and range. Once we get a bit advanced with our punching, we can start to incorporate more combos and head movement to help improve your technique.

    I am a SFSU alumni with a B.S in Business marketing. I also have an AA in economics. I know that may not show I'm physical capable of training someone but I've been a gym rat my whole life since I've started training and I haven't stopped since then.

    I normally charge per hour a lesson it's  $40

    If you want to meet up 3x a week it's $100

    I started to teach a couple years ago. At first it was just family members but once I started to improve, close friends would ask me to help train them on how to defend themselves. I took it as an opportunity to help introduce the sport of boxing in a friendly and helpful way that would make it more approachable for a new comer.

    I train with new and seasoned veterans who want to keep up with there training.

    I would just say don't be intimidated to start training. At first it may seem hard or frustrating but with some patience and the right kind of help, you'll be on your way to a healthier and stronger you.
