My teaching approach:

I think that the best way to become good at something is to understand the theory underlying it. Besides teaching technique, we will also study music theory. I will not just be using guitar to explain it either; we will use keyboard, wind instruments, and other stringed instruments as well to develop a deeper understanding of what goes on when you play.
