My teaching approach: With over 30 years of teaching experience, many of my former students have graduated from top Music Schools, and have won many competitions. I am happy to teach music to anybody who wishes to learn. As a composer, arranger, improviser, and instrument innovator, I have 7 CDs to my name and have performed and lectured throughout Northern California. My influences are: Ali Akbar Khan, Dusan Bogdonovic, Larry Ferrara, Shiv Kumar Sharma, and L. Shankar. My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours: Monday-Sunday Guitar Techniques: classical guitar, composition, Improvisation, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises. Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: I start with examining basic technique. A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: I start with building a foundation for the student (i.e. technique, reading music, etc). After sometime, I develop the student artistically. The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following: One who is open to learning music.
