About

Welcome to my page! My name is Bryan, and I’ve been teaching guitar since 1999. Whether I’m going to coach you for a classical guitar competition, help you audition for college, or just teach you how to hold your own around the campfire, my success as a teacher comes from teaching my students how to teach themselves. There are 10,080 minutes in a week and you only have me for 60. Making sure you know exactly how to troubleshoot problems while I’m not there is crucial. Learning to play solo finger-style/ classical guitar is insanely rewarding, and is beneficial to all players in any genre. Discover legendary traditional repertoire, learn how to create solo arrangements of any song, but most importantly, learn how to just sit down and play. There is NOTHING more rewarding than that.

  • Did I mention my VR performance venue in the metaverse? It's no substitute for the real thing, but the sound quality is fantastic, and is a great way for out-of-state family to attend recitals.

Bryan started teaching my son guitar, which my son didnt really pick up on too well. He showed an interest in piano, so Bryan transitioned him to piano lessons and my son did, and still does, really well with piano. We credit Bryan with my sons interest and skill in playing the piano. Also, before he left the music school where he was teaching my son, Bryan took great care to make sure my son was matched with another instructor. My son continues to play piano and is doing very well!

My daughter took guitar and piano lessons with Brian. We were both very pleased with the lessons. My daughter which was 7 at the time switched from guitar to piano. He made the transition easy for her and was extremely patient while she made up her mind on what she wanted to do. I was impressed on how much she learned and she continues to take lessons. He truly sparked that interest and motivated her through every lesson.
