Daniel Avina

I am a guitar and ukelele teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area who has been teaching since 2016 incorporating rock, jazz, country and classical into my repertoire and teaching style. My approach for each student varies depending on what their goals are for the instrument and themselves. I like to get people playing as soon as I can, and add elements of music theory and musicality as well as technique and style based playing.

I currently teach through two music schools in the SF/Bay area where I serve a number of students of all ages interested in different styles and aspects of their instruments, and who come from various backgrounds with different skill sets. The one thing they all have in common is a willingness to learn and explore different methods. The quickest way to one's goal is not often times the most direct- and learning a musical instrument will show you exactly that. There are many paths to musicality and musicianship that I can show you. There are multiple ways to achieve your guitar goals. Let's get playing!
