Hello, my name is Daniel! I'm a conservatory student studying composition and piano, and have been teaching all ages for several years.
My approach is to not only teach the music on the page, but explain and define the details of the language that is music.
I emphasize highly in technique, but also the character, context, and history of the music if applicable. I incorporate aspects of theory, music appreciation, improvisation, and history all in order to cultivate a well rounded and passionate artist, not just someone who can sit down and play the keys.
