About
I have been teaching music for 18 years and I have students from all levels and ages. My lesson program is very flexible and depends on student's needs. We can discover together theory, some simple singing and of course piano pieces from classical, jazz or pop repertoire. I think that learning music is very important for everybody: it helps with memory, multitasking, relaxing, focusing, and many more.
I am also a winner of the international competitions and played hundreds of concerts in Europe and USA. Besides performing my passion was studying ( I obtained 3 Master's degress from Brussels, Paris and San Francisco) and teaching ( my experience is of almost 20 years now!).

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I start working with a new student I'd like to know their goal for learning the piano: is it to unwind from everyday life? Is it to perfom and prepare for a competition? Is it to learn something new? Then, I choose a piano method/songs/schedule for us so we can achieve that goal. I like to be flexible: if we need to change direction and take a new goal I am eager to help.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 3 Master's Degree from international universtities. I learnt how to perfrom on the piano, compose, accompany and teach. I have been performing since I was 6 years old and started teaching when 16 by shadowing professors from music schools. Then, I opened my own piano studio in Belgium and after moving to USA- in the Bay Area. I taught msuic to around hundreds of students by now.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I live in the Bay Area. If you take a lesson at your location you will pay basic price for a lesson and a transport fees depending of your location. I try to schedule students from same location on the same day so you don't have to pay so much for the transportation fees, and that's divided between all the pupils that day.
If it's in my studio you will pay the basic lesson price plus partial fee for room rental.
If you take an online class you pay only for the basic lesson, no other fees.
I encourage students to take some online and some in person lessons which becomes the best deal.
All the payments are per period of 3 months and you are allowed 2 make up lessons during this time ( online or in person depending of teacher's availability). There is a 48-hour cancelation policy.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in Warsaw, Poland when I was 16. I was shadowing my father who is an international pianist. From that moment on I got my first students and that's how my teaching career started.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked with students from 3, 5 years old up to 70 sth. Since I can teach any level I have been teaching kids, teenagers and adults. I like all. Being a musician for such a long time taught me patience and that is so far the best tool to intruct others.
