I’m Jun-Ting Wei known as Justin, a 26-year-old violin and viola teacher. I hold a Master’s degree from SFCM and a Bachelor’s degree from the National University of Singapore. I’ve performed with orchestras like Taipei Symphony, Singapore Symphony, and participated in festivals like Taipei Music Academy and Festival, Detroit Symphony Orchestra Summer
Institute, and Pacific Music Festival.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in passion, patience, and optimism. I believe my experiences, including my participation in these renowned orchestras and festivals, can guide students from various angles, equipping them with both musical skills and life skills.
As a teacher, I bring a unique blend of experiences and skills to my students:
1. Enhancing Cognitive Abilities: I encourage my students to engage their senses and creativity in music, fostering cognitive skills that extend beyond the realm of music.
2. Stress Resistance Training: Drawing from my 20 years of experience in auditions and performances, I help students build resilience to stress, applicable in various life situations.
3. Correct Postures: I prioritize proper playing postures to prevent injuries and ensure their long-term well-being.
4. Musical Skills and Artistry: With over 20 years of experience and insights from studying under music masters, I provide a wealth of musical knowledge and creativity to enrich students' musical journeys and lives.
