About
I am a violinist, with a Bachelor's degree in Music. I have experience teaching all ages of students, from beginning-intermediate/advanced levels. I am very passionate about sharing music with the community and educating anybody who wishes to learn the violin.
I love working individually with students, and supporting the growth of an artistic language. I believe having a music background is a very useful skill that can benefit many areas of life, and I am passionate in helping that growth.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I am starting to teach new students, I try my best to make sure that I have a clear understanding of the current ability they have on their instrument and how to support their future goals. I am flexible with the different ways I can help teach technique, repertoire, different genres, theory etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught private violin lessons for the past 6 years, I have a Bachelor's degree in Music, I am currently studying with Henry Gronnier, I have experience in orchestral groups, chamber ensembles, jazz combo, improvisation and I am currently still studying jazz amongst other genres.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I try to have a sliding scale to fit each family's/individuals needs. I charge around 40-60$/hr.
How did you get started teaching?
Through my university I began teaching in a non-profit that provided funded lessons to under privileged communities.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students from ages/level. I have most experience teaching beginning-intermediate violin.
