About Misuzu

Misuzu Kitazumi Burns is a pianist and international music educator with over 25 years of teaching experience across the United States, China, and India.

She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Redlands and a Master of Education from Moreland University.

After many years working within international schools and diverse musical communities abroad, her teaching philosophy evolved toward a more thoughtful and human-centered approach to music education.

Today, her private studio focuses on long-term artistic growth, emotional safety, and meaningful musical development within a calm and refined learning environment.
