As a professional musician, I can offer music tutoring to people of any age or ability. I LOVE teaching music and have found it to be a real passion; I learn a great deal from students and definitely consider myself to be enthusiastic and supportive. I am a trumpet player, so I have taught many different brass players in the past. I can also teach guitar, piano and music theory.
I am also a music therapist with a great deal of experience of working with people who have additional needs, such as learning disabilities and autism. I also have worked with individuals with mental health issues such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I can work with groups or individuals, using music as a therapeutic intervention.
In addition, I have devised and delivered bespoke music and arts-based sessions for over 5 years and can visit schools/residential homes/other organizations, to deliver workshops.
