Simply put, Patrick has helped me take my guitar playing from playing badly at home to playing well at gigs! Hes helped my timing, finger picking, advanced chords, and soloing. Patrick is a gifted teacher who knows how to break down each component part and how to build music back together with the best strategy for playing well. Highly recommended!

I have been studying with Patrick going on 5 years. His knowledge base of music on rock, folk, blue grass is excellent. He is flexible in his teaching and will work with you on what sort of guitarist/musician you would like to be. We have weekly lessons and I am part of a weekly jam sessions with other students. Part of our lessons are studying songs to play in our jam sessions and then to perform in a bi-annual recital. We are talking about taking the show on the road to try live performances. Most of all, I am having fun with an excellent teacher.

Patrick’s experience as a professional musician gives him an edge as a teacher. He not only knows music theory for teaching but he also has the knowledge of how to assist his students in perfecting their playing. His wisdom of starting a jam band with his students, which I am a proud member, has strengthened my Mandolin playing and I’ve gained confidence to play in front of an audience. I’ve been a student of Pat’s for about 6 years. Pat is an awesome teacher and is well loved and respected by his students and their parents!

I have been taking lessons from Pat for a few years. I feel that he takes a very personal interest in each student’s progress and tailors the lessons to each individual. He is very patient and I enjoy my guitar lesson. I have made a lot of progress because of my lessons with Pat.
