About
Even after starting my professional singing career I kept studying with best voice teachers and coaches in Russia, United States and Italy. My professional experience thought me to understand nature of humane voice, treat it with respect and care. Every student is different, there is no single teaching method effective for everybody. We all have one goal but everybody has to take his own road to achieve this goal. And my goal is to help student to find the best road.
I enjoy to see how my students develop their voices, broaden their musical interests, become more confident not only on stage but also in real life. Sometimes change is so dramatic - it's like caterpillar turns into a butterfly!

What types of students have you worked with?

I like working with children, like to find their voices somewhere deep inside them.
I love working with children because they have all their future in front of them. Nothing is defined. They are at the beginning of exciting advenrure with multiple paths they can choose from. I, as a music teacher can show them wonderful world of music. I never push into singing profession. I just open another opporrunity for them. Some of my students use their great singing abilities as an opportunity to get into a good college for double major. To the beginning of 12th grade they come equipped with performing experience, volunteering experience, competition awards.
I help college students with vocal technique, and also coach Russian diction
I love sharing my experience with adult students too.
Some of them are performing, others need help with overall vocal heath.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am really excited of my students's performance on several vocal comeritions this year. It is hars for voice atudents to tudy online, and it is not as exciting to do online competitions as it is to do live ones, but we survived pandemic, ans learned new skills, and did really good on Certificate of Merit and several big competitions.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My best area of expertise is classical singing.
And also crossover.
Musical theater would be 3rd...
But all types of singing require learning fundamentals of using your voice.
Majority of famous pop and rock singers recieved formal musical educarion.
Instrument, music theory, sight reading. These things might feel like a boring stuff for a young and talanted musician, but no matter how talented the person is, knowlege and experience, as well as commitment, are creating the path for success.
So I recommend to all aspiring young artists to opt for certification program like CM or ABRSM, to get as much performing experience at possible, study well at sxhool, get goos grades, and to get a double major at college so they
1- can support themselves on this difdicult path
2 - make a well weighted choice in their life. So they do music career not because this is the only rhing they can do, but something they want to dp
