About
At Minuet, our main goal is to instill a long-term love of music in our students. We care about each and every one of our students, and strive to have a lasting positive influence through our interactions with them. We want to give our students a solid foundation from the very first lesson, giving them the tools to succeed in music. We provide weekly in-person lessons to train musicians of all ages and inspire them in their musical journey!
We use a variety of materials and methods to ensure lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student. We believe that it is important to help our students reach their own goals, and we aim to meet each student wherever they may be! We currently offer instruction in piano, voice, flute, and composition. If you are interested in giving your children or even yourself the gift of music, we would love to get in touch with you!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Once contacted, an introductory lesson will be arranged to see if the student and teacher are compatible. After this lesson, the teacher will contact the student's family and let them know if the student and teacher are a good fit for each other. Lessons begin shortly thereafter
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Tuition will be collected at the first lesson of each month. Tuition will be raised $1 every school year (change will be reflected in August). As of 2018, tuition cost is $20 for 30-minute lessons, $30 for 45-minute lessons, and $40 for one hour lessons. Invoices will be emailed to each family during the last week of the previous month. Late payment may result in lessons being paused until payment is made with a late fee of $5 for each week that payment is late. A new invoice including the late fee will be emailed. If payment becomes one month late, lessons may be canceled at the teacher’s discretion.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Families should make sure they feel comfortable with the teacher, and agree with their studio policies before proceeding with lessons.
