I have been playing piano for 5 years and guitar for 2. I taught myself using minimal sheet music, and had to reverse-engineer the nuances technicalities, and harmonies of each instrument. This gives me a deeper understanding of where technique can go awry, and my own experience has taught me how to adapt techniques if you also struggle with having smaller hands.
