About
I have been a professional singer and performer in various bands for over 25 years.
I am currently the lead singer for award winning band NEVERWONDER ( Nashville Music awards and LA Music critic awards winners) and I also sing in a cover jazz duo, called The Fixtures Duo. The vocal technique I teach is the very same I use when I perform all over the country.
I am a graduate of Musician Institute in vocal technique and performance. And I have also studied vocal technique and pedagogy for over 15 years under the tutelage of Dr Joel Ewing. ( The Eagles, Journey, Seal).
The method is based on the studies of H. Ceasari and V. Reid and can be used for any genre of music.
I designed lessons around the needs and goals of my students and will help you find your true voice as well as develop your performance skills .
I focus on proper technique and balancing the muscles systems responsible for the singing voice, for a lifetime of singing, free from injuries. I have helped many students with vocal issues. I teach in a quiet part of my home studio.
(Zoom lessons are also available. )
I speak fluent French and English and have some knowledge of Spanish .

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First thing, we will have a quick discussion to see what you want to achieve with your lessons and see if you have any previous singing experience. Then if possible do a trail lesson so that I can evaluate and design a course around your needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years of experience in singing and vocal pedagogy. I graduated from ETM in Geneva, Switzerland in vocal technique in 1991. I graduated from Musicians Institute in vocal technique and songwriting 1994. And I also have been studying with Dr.Joel Ewing (Juillard School and vocal coach to Steve Perry, Seal, the Eagles etc..) for the last 18 years in vocal technique and vocal pedagogy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge $60 an 1hour or $30 for half an hour at my home studio or online (Zoom/Facetime).
How did you get started teaching?
Through the years, I have been approached many times by fellow musicians and music teachers who wanted to know how I was achieving my sound and also if I could help them with their vocal technique. That's when I realized I could make a difference in teaching and passing along my expertise.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginner singers. Songwriters who want to improve their singing. Professional vocalists that are having issues with their voice or have reached a plateau.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am working currently with a vocalist that is also going to M.I. She felt like she was stagnating, and was having issues with her voice especially when she was getting in her higher register. So she started working with me, and within a few weeks of training and doing the excercices I gave her to do, she saw a big difference. Her teacher at M.I even asked her what she was doing different because her voice had improved so much within a short period of time.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
They should ask the teacher what kind of training he or she has.
How long have he/she been doing so with continuous improvement or positive results?
Does the teacher performs as well?
I believe you have to know an instrument well to be able to teach it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do they want to achieve, is it for fun or to become a professional?
I will teach you slightly differently if you want to sing as a hobby or if you want a carreer.
