I got a lot of my yoga knowledge from teaches in India who live yoga in a different way that we see in the western world I think we can learn a lot from them (BTW I also think they have much to learn from us). I combine between a flow and aligned practice witch gives both the breath and movement connection and deep body awareness.
What I enjoy most about teaching yoga is seeing my students going on there mined - body journey. I also love the challenge in teaching, every body is different witch means that every practice is Individual. Teaching also gives me the opportunity to learn more because students are the best teachers.
I just love it!
Rivka has good energy and broad knowledge, she made me feel comfortable during all the practices. She is attentive to my personal needs (I am not so flexible and for the first time I felt that I could do yoga with the right guidance). I also love how she manages to apply yoga to my life in a practical way.
Getting to know you and your needs. Starting by talking and seeing your experience and requests. Then building class sequence that will fill these needs.
I have a 200 TTC certification (advanced level 1 Hatha yoga) from Himalayan Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, India.
I had some training in Iyengar yoga as well.
I love yoga and I love teaching, sharing the beauty of yoga is fulfilling and meaningful.
I worked with all ages, a lot of my students are beginners.
The most important thing is that the teacher will have good anatomy knowledge to pervert injuries.
