When I talk to people for music lessons on the phone I tell them you need to have a teacher that has experience and besides being good on the instrument they need to know how to communicate properly and be able to relate what they are teaching with much patience and be organized each week that's why I've have students 9 to 10 years taking lessons from me
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
At least having the curiosityto trytolearn and having a few lessons most students know if they really want to continue taking lessons and what is important is having a relatable teacher I tell all my students if they practice what I teach them it is impossible to get worse you can only get better if you give it a chance
