What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take one lesson and if you are not excited about what you learned find another teacher. A light should come on in your head that says: Yes this is gonna work i feel inspired and can see that I can do this"
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
this is different for everyone. I think Students should hold their questions to the end of the first lesson because all their questions will be completely different after some light is shed on playing guitar. but of course all questions are welcome and there are no stupid questions.
