If you are looking for boring guitar lessons, then I'm afraid I'm not teacher for you. Music is a universal language, and Rock n Roll is what we focus on. Everything from the Beatles, to Led Zeppelin, to Metallica, the Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, The Eagles and everything in between. 1960's to modern day Rock N Roll. We will listen to music together as well. Be prepared to show me songs that move you and we'll find out what exactly is going on in the song. That way you can move people with your music as well. Afterall that's why you decided to pick up the guitar in the first place, right?
I enjoy playing music, but seeing people enjoy playing no matter what their skill set is what its all about. Playing the guitar is something nobody ever regrets doing. If you are willling to put in the work, you will learn to play and play well. The guitar is really one of those things in life where you get what you put into it. It can and will be frustrating at times, but it's all part of the journey. How far you go is up to you, I'm just here to get you off to a good start with a solid foundation to build on.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get a good feel for what the student wants to accomplish, hear them play, and develop a plan/schedule to get them there. Lessons aren't a long term committment. The goal is to get the student to the point where they are able to learn on their own.
