Hello! I'm a vocal and language coach and I specialize in teaching professionals how to communicate in multiple languages, to better serve their careers in companies. I also teach people how to sing in different languages to help voice actors and singers sing and speak in different languages. I have had students come from George Lucas Films, Toyota, Nissan, UCI Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, Avex, Kyoto Animation, Disney, Google, and more. As our world continues to grow more multicultural, than ever before, I strive to help my students to better converse and comprehend so that they can connect with their clients and colleagues. And with my voice actors and singers to improve their pronunciation in multilingual situations!
As an educator, what I enjoy most about my work is seeing my students learn and grow. It's incredibly satisfying to witness my students utilizing what they had learned in class and applying it in real-life situations. Witnessing their progress and development is truly rewarding, and it's one of the reasons why I love teaching so much.
Furthermore, I have a passion for meeting new people and learning about their motivations for learning a particular language or singing. I find it fascinating to learn about their unique stories and what drives them to pursue their goals. Through teaching, I get to meet a diverse range of individuals who enrich my life and broaden my horizons.
Another aspect of my work that I truly enjoy is the two-way learning process that occurs between myself and my students. While I strive to impart my knowledge and expertise onto my students, I also learn from them. Their perspectives and experiences can offer a different angle to approaching a problem or a concept, and this ultimately enhances my own understanding and teaching approach.
In summary, I genuinely love teaching and find great joy in witnessing my students learn and develop their skills. Meeting new people and learning about their motivations for learning is a fulfilling experience, and the two-way learning process with my students enriches my own knowledge and understanding.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I would typically assess the student's level of proficiency in the targeted skill. Whether it be singing or speaking in a different language.. This can be done through an initial conversation, a placement test, or a combination of both.
Next,I'll go aheard and learn about the student's learning goals and objectives. This helps me tailor my teaching approach and lesson plans to meet the student's specific needs.
After understanding the student's proficiency level and learning goals, it is then I'll be able to create an outline of a customized lesson plan that is tailored to the student's individual learning style, goals, and needs. This may involve selecting appropriate learning materials, such as textbooks, audiovisual resources, and supplementary materials.
During the initial classes, I'll establish a rapport with the student to create a comfortable and positive learning environment. This can involve discussing the student's interests, hobbies, and motivations for learning the language.
Throughout the learning process, I will monitor the student's progress and provide feedback and guidance to help the student achieve their learning goals. I'll also adapt the lesson plan as needed based on the student's progress and feedback.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching because of the discouragement and limitations that were placed upon me by some teachers and guidance counselors when I was younger. As a person of Hispanic descent from a single-parent family, I was often told that I wouldn't be able to accomplish certain things due to my circumstances.
One particular incident stands out in my memory. When I showed my guidance counselor the school I wanted to attend after graduation in LA, I was told that there was "no way" I would be accepted there. Instead, I was advised to work at McDonald's and apply to a local college. This advice made me realize that there are people who close down opportunities for others based on their own biases and limitations.
However, this experience also motivated me to become a teacher. I wanted to inspire and motivate others, particularly those who have faced similar challenges, to believe in themselves and their abilities. I wanted to be a teacher who encourages their students to pursue their dreams and aspirations regardless of their circumstances.
From that day on, I knew that teaching was the path I wanted to take. It is incredibly rewarding to see my students achieve their goals and reach their potential, and I take pride in being able to support them in their journey. As a teacher, I strive to be a positive role model and inspire my students to believe in themselves and their abilities, no matter what others may say.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, from kids to adults of all walks of life. In my years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of students with different abilities, including those with special needs.
I have worked with blind students to teach them how to play the piano, which required a unique approach to teaching and learning. It was important for me to find alternative ways to teach the necessary skills and techniques, such as using tactile cues, verbal descriptions, and Braille notation.
I have also worked with autistic students to help them learn a new language and improve their singing abilities. Teaching students with autism requires patience, creativity, and flexibility to tailor the teaching methods to each student's unique learning style and needs.
In addition to special needs students, I have also worked with students from all walks of life, including those from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I believe that diversity is a strength, and I strive to create an inclusive learning environment that celebrates each student's unique identity and encourages them to express themselves freely.
Overall, my teaching experience has allowed me to develop a wide range of teaching strategies and techniques that cater to students with varying abilities and learning styles. I am committed to providing each of my students with the support and guidance they need to achieve their full potential, regardless of their background or challenges they may face.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
f you are looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise, there are a few key pieces of advice that I would recommend you consider:
Identify your specific goals and learning needs: Before hiring a teacher, it's important to identify your specific goals and learning needs. This will help you find a teacher who specializes in the areas that you want to improve on.
Research the teacher's qualifications and experience: When looking for a teacher, it's important to do your research and check their qualifications and experience. Look for a teacher who has the necessary training and experience in the specific area you want to learn.
Read reviews and testimonials: Reading reviews and testimonials from previous students can give you valuable insights into the teacher's teaching style, personality, and effectiveness. Look for teachers who have a positive track record of helping students achieve their goals.
Consider the teacher's teaching approach: Every teacher has their own teaching approach, so it's important to find a teacher whose approach resonates with your learning style. For example, if you prefer a more interactive and hands-on approach, look for a teacher who emphasizes student participation and engagement.
Schedule a trial lesson: Before committing to a teacher, it's a good idea to schedule a trial lesson to get a sense of their teaching style and personality. This will help you determine whether the teacher is a good fit for your learning needs and goals.
Finding the right teacher requires some effort and research, but it's worth it to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience. By considering these factors, you´ll be able to find a teacher who can help you achieve your goals and reach your full potential. It's ok to shop around for teachers.
