Each session, I focus on teaching a lesson tailored specifically to each students' needs and moving step by step accordingly based on a structured syllabus. If necessary, and at no cost to the student, I am willing to go overtime with the student to ensure that they go home with a clear understanding of their piano pieces and what is expected from them in their assigned homework. This allows for our lesson in the following week's session to be as productive as possible in order for us to move on to the next level and learn new music pieces. I also teach Music Theory classes to help...

I am passionate in teaching the art of music and piano to students that are willing to learn. Because studying piano is a commitment, I am able to determine if the student is engaging with the lesson well and whether their heart willingly enables them to learn piano earnestly. I especially enjoy encouraging my students, watching their piano skills improve over time, and witnessing them reap the benefits of their hard work as they develop their own love for piano.

    Frequently asked questions

I offer 30-45 minutes private piano lessons once a week in my home studio. Whether you are a beginner with no previous piano lesson experience, intermediate, or an advanced player, all levels are welcome. Lessons are tailored to best fit your skill level and needs. Music reading skills are taught with the aid of technology to supplement instruction and students' understanding.

    > I have  a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Santo Tomas with a major in Piano Performance and Minor in Music Theory.

    >  I studied with well-respected pedagogues, including Julliard graduate La Vonne of Riverside California who taught me  the art of playing and teaching classical electronic organ.

My teaching method is as follows: (30 to 45 minutes lesson)

    • Piano lesson at the comfort of my home
    • One-on-one personalized tutoring
    • Music reading skills with the aid of technology
    • Music Theory Class
    • Students typically attend one 30 minute private lesson per week; four lessons per month
    • Students may enroll at any time in the year, preferably beginning of the month
    • ***please see my website for lesson options , a prepaid plan is also available.

I started teaching when I was 12 years old. I was asked by my piano teacher to sub for her and teach a couple of her  beginner students on her absence. I started liking it since then. At early age, I found it fun to interact with other students of the same interest. I continue on playing piano at our church for almost 18 years. My parents send me to a Conservatory of Music school to further my studies in Music. That's how my profession begun. Up to now  just to keep up with the  technology and new  teaching methods, I am attending seminars and taking some classes to further up my knowledge and impart it to my students.

From beginners to advance students, all levels are welcome  and give my best to accommodate them. All individual lessons are tailored according to the needs  of each individual student ; a structured lesson plan laid out to each individual to the best of my knowledge.

Watching Broadway, attending music seminars and hosting an Annual Piano Recital has been a part of our events since I started my music studio.

First and foremost, you need to know and ask...  what is the teacher's qualifications?  Does she/he hold a certain discipline to the instruments she/he is teaching ?

Ask for a trial lesson to begin with to gauge how the teacher's method of teaching and if it fits your need then he/she is the right teacher for you.

Make sure the music studio is conducive for a learning environment.

Questions  to ask before commiting your time for a piano lesson..

    > what is the teacher's method?

    > can I play a music piece of my choice as a supplement?

    > does the teacher has an affiliation to Educator's forum, membership or certification?

    > a goal to achieve before starting the lesson. Such as... after finishing the lesson book do I have to be tested or have a Merit a certification ?
