I am a musician, composer, & pianist from Nederland, CO.
My private teaching practice began in 2012 and I have pursued an active career in performing, writing & teaching ever since.
In 2013, I accomplished a Fine Arts degree in Music from STLCC and then went on to complete undergrad studies at the University of Missouri St. Louis, finishing with a Bachelors Degree in Music Composition and a minor in Jazz. While attending UMSL, I studied with internationally acclaimed professors including Alla Voskoboynikova for Classical piano, Barbara Harbach for Composition, and Ken Kehner for Jazz piano. I was recognized with top honors in the class of 2018 receiving a Distinguished Performance in Keyboard award and the Outstanding Music Composition award from the UMSL Music Department as well as being a member of the Honors Society and Deans List.
Alongside school, I have performed and toured with multiple bands including Jackson Stokes, Brother Francis & the Soultones, STL Big Band, JD Hughes, among many other groups and collaborations.
Ryan is a freelance musician who gives professional piano, voice and music composition lessons to all ages and skill levels.
He is great for College students who are preparing for auditions, kids who are just getting into music, and adults who are looking to sharpen their skills in music either as a hobby or professionally.
