I enjoy teaching people of all ages and levels from all over the world. Together we can explore the most amazing music. Helping my students to create their own musical identity is such an interesting process and I love to be a part of their musical journey.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually like to schedule a try out lesson in which I can determine the learning style of the student. After I get a sense of this, we can discuss piano methods, repertoire and other learning goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master of Music in Collaborative Piano
University of Colorado in Boulder, 2020
Master of Music in Piano Performance
University of Wyoming in Laramie, 2018
Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance
Conservatory of Amsterdam, 2016

50 dollars per hour
How did you get started teaching?
By comunicating clearly with my students to determine the best teaching goals and the best teaching style that fits the student.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly with kids and young adults (<21), but I have also had some students of 60+ years old.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently played my second Masters Recital at the University of Colorado in Boulder. It was a program featuring all German Romantic music, with some of my composers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who can offer you a broad and solid set of skills. Someone who has had both the experience of intense and serious musical training, and a lot of experience in performing. And on top of that it needs to be someone that you feel comfortable and inspired with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
- What are my goals? Why do I want to play music?
- Do I have a good instrument to practise on?
- Do I have time to practise regularly?
- Do I want to commit to a fun and rewarding, but sometimes difficult hobby?
