I am a self-empoyed Piano Teacher, and I have decades of experience in teaching piano students at all levels, from beginners to the most advanced, as I have the training of a concert pianist. I am a gold medalist Fellow of the Trinity College of Music, London, and have also studied music in Germany. I am founder-President of the Clara Schumann Society in Boulder, Colorado. My students play in student recitals at the Boulder Piano Gallery and also take the examinations of the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto.
I specialize in teaching adults, including adult beginners. I teach all styles of music, including classical and popular music. I also teach on Skype.
I love people who want to play the piano :) I feel blessed to bring the joy of piano playing into people's lives. I love interacting with each student as a unique individual. I rejoice in their progress ! With advanced students I adore teaching the finer points of performance when teaching the Baroque/ Classical and Romantic masterpieces !

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I give a first FREE "meet and Greet" lesson to a new student so that they may get to know me, and I them. I tailor my lessons to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Lessons are cheerful and relaxed. I am flexible about scheduling. I make myself available for lessons all seven days of the week, inclufing evenings.
