    Frequently asked questions

We treat our students as individuals. We work around their individual tastes and personalities. We use a balance of fun, technique/theory, and practice etiquette to achieve the fastest and best results

All of our teacher's have music degrees as well as vast performance experience in many different genres. We all have 10+ years of teaching experience but are all relatively young. We understand what it is to be a great teacher and a great performer and how to convey that knowledge in a way that is accessible, relevant, and applicable

Lessons are normally $36 a lesson but we offer a discount to lessons.com students of $31 a lesson. We also offer a FREE intro lesson to see if we are right for you

Coming from a family of educators (teachers, tutors, and principals), I have learned so much about the qualities and ideals that make for a great teacher and have put together an unparalleled staff.

We have a very diverse student body. We have just as many adult students as kids, ranging from 5-85 yrs. Some people come to us having never touched an instrument, others are seasoned pros who have hit a wall, and everything inbetween. Stylistically, we have it all. Students who are fans of Rock, Country, Classical, Blues, Jazz, Metal,Rap, and any other style you can think of, we have it and can teach it! We have students who are blind, deaf, have A.D.D, as well as other physical or mental handicaps.

Our last recital for many reasons. Because we tend to keep our students year after year, we saw some great improvement, some very difficult pieces performed with confidence and grace, as well as many new faces sharing their gift and hard work for the first time. I love seeing the sense of accomplishment in the students as well as the joy/pride of family and friends.

Even though recitals are completely optional for students, we had a great turnout and went from 2 programs last year to 3 full, back to back programs this year!

Try a Free lesson to see if you like it. There's no sales pitch. We won't try and convince you to sign-up. You'll know if you like the fit or not. No pressure, nothing to lose

How long does the teacher normally keep students?(if not for long, they probably aren't that good). Are you able to teach what I like? Is it a professional environment, like a school/studio or is it some weird guys basement? Can I talk to current students? Are there reviews online?
