I love performing and teaching kids! I have devoted my life to both and love what I do.
i am a music and band teacher st a charter school in Westminster. I have also maintained a piano studio for the past 15 years.
As a performer, I have performed in orchestras, jazz bands, musicals, rock bands and folk groups. I performed on stage with Adel in 2016 on the trombone. Currently I play piano, accordion and sing in a alternative folk band.
With kids, my strength is training up kids to learn efficiently, play well and enjoy it in the process.
My passion is helping to grow a love of music for a lifetime for my students. I also love to get to know each student, work with their strengths and nurture where they may be struggling.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With a new student, I usually start them right away with playing and reading music. It usually takes 1-2 lessons for us to get to know each other, and for me to gain an understanding of their level and learning style.
