Ani Gyulamiryan started her musical studies at the age of 6, when she entered the Sayat-Nova Music School in Yerevan, Armenia. Concurrently, she took lessons with Vartan Adjemian, a renowned Armenian composer and professor of composition of the Yerevan Komitas Conservatory of Music. In 2010, Ani graduated with Bachelor of Music in piano performance from University of Denver, Lamont School of Music in Denver, CO. She was a recipient of Daniel L. Ritchie endowed full tuition scholarship for four years and additional talent scholarship. Her principal teachers were Alice Rybak and David Genova. During her time there, she engaged in premiering new music, competitions, and festivals. She attended the Pramberger Adult Festival in CO, and studied at the International Keyboard Institute and Festival in NY. She accompanied the winner of collegiate national operatic vocal division at NATS competition in 2008. She is also a laureate and winner of American Protege competition in NY. Her professional engagements have included serving as the principal pianist to the Denver Chorale and teaching at Colorado Music Quest premier music studio. In 2014, she is completing her Master Degree in piano performance from University of Alaska Fairbanks. At UAF, Ani was under the tutelage of a great teacher, pianist, and conductor, Eduard Zilberkant. Ani currently resides in Colorado.
