What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During the first lesson, we work together to find out what skills are evident, and progress towards developing more skills to perfect the new student's craft.
I like to find out what the student wants to learn, as music is about making the musician happy in what they are pursuing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied music composition and sound design at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs!
I have performed in many bands as a kid, and currently play electric guitar for Life Church Colorado Springs.
I also teach music lessons for Accent music.

How did you get started teaching?
I starting teaching guitar when I was 16, and found that I could relate to musicians the best while showing them what I know!
I taught at Roxy's music, a music store in my hometown of La Porte, IN. I moved out to Colorado, and found so many more passionate musicians in the state!
