Sarah Groh is a teacher of voice, piano, and life skills. Her studio serves tweens, teens, and adults. Music is a great way to support your mental health and change your mood. During uncertain times, music can be a good and joyful constant in the life of the musican.
Groh Music is not here to turn you into an opera singer. They meet each students where they are and "Groh" from there.
Sarah loves to connect with each student individually and support them in each musical or personal goal.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are encouraged to visit www.grohmusic.com and Sarah's YouTube Channel to learn more about her and the studio.
When ready, students can book a free 15 minute interview with Sarah - OR - if you are ready to take a lesson, book a lesson and go.
Students will learn warm-ups, songs, and insights about themselves and music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sarah has an B.M. and a M.M. in Voice Performance. She studied at the University of Kansas and Arizona State.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard Pricing is:
30 minute lessons - $35
45 minute lessons - $45
With a committment of 1 month at a time. Enrolled students must committ to a semester after they have completed 1 month of study at $160 per month.
How did you get started teaching?
Sarah began teaching in 1994 while working on her Master's Degree in Voice. Because piano, music theory, life skills, and voice are so intimatly related, Sarah teaches them all.
What types of students have you worked with?
Sarah works with all age students and finds that each person enjoys learning to sing and play for many reasons. Students enjoy connecting, learning, and being a part of the larger musical community.
Sarah has enjoyed teaching many adult students looking for stress releif or in preparation for choir and church auditions. High school singers who are getting ready for All-State Choir or School Musical Auditions.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is important to meet your new teacher and see if there is personal and professional chemistry. Ask questions and jump in with both feet to learn as much as you can.
