What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I offer a complimentary first lesson where I meet with the student to discuss their goals and needs.  I then will customize the lesson plan depending on their skill level and goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I began playing piano at the age of two and went on to earn my BA in Music, specializing in Piano, Voice and Acting.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$120.00/Month for a 30 minute lesson weekly

$200.00/Month for a 60 minute lesson weekly

How did you get started teaching?

Growing up, my Mother owned a music studio and I began teaching under her guidance when I was in high school.  I fell in love with it and have been teaching ever since.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students from all walks of life and of all ages.  From 5 years olds just beginning their musical journey to the more skilled student who is seeking a career in the arts!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would recommend always meeting with a possible new teacher and discussing your goals and desires for your lessons.  You want to make sure that your personalities work well together and that the teacher’s teaching style will help you meet your goals.
