Hi! I'm Matt Bassano, and I would love to teach you piano or guitar! I offer private lessons to students aged 6 to 86 in my studio or online.
I've been a full time musician and music teacher for 30 years. With a degree in music and a lifetime of real-world music experience, I bring a lot to the table. I love teaching, and my students love their lessons!
My students learn to read music and play to a metronome, and they also learn theory, improvisation, scales, comping, soloing, classical, jazz and pop repitoire, and whatever else they want to pursue.
I'm very laid-back and kind, and I work with however much practice my students bring to the table. Make no mistake, though - my students get a first-rate musical education. Many of my former students are now professional musicians themselves.
